Yoga Styles

Here are the styles I currently offer to clients. Please chose one or a combination of the styles below for your most satisfying experience.

Vinyasa

This is a traditional yoga class where poses are linked by breath, with sequences incorporating a range of postures for a total body movement experience. Classes are all levels unless otherwise requested.

Great for: Building strength, flexibility, stability and focus.

 

 

Chair Yoga

You won’t believe how much strength and cardio you get from chair yoga. Whether you sit a lot for work or you’re a senior, this experience is great for releasing tension and tightness that comes from sitting for prolonged periods of time.

Great for: Building strength, flexibility, stability, focus, and limited time and space.

Restorative Yoga

Never tried restorative yoga? You’re in for a treat! Think of it as an adult nap the will take you to a deep state of relaxation and to cultivate additional energy for the things that matter. You’ll enjoy poses held for long durations (between 3 to 15 minutes), supported by props to create peace throughout your body so the mind can slow down.

Great for: Enhancing relaxation, releasing stress, calming the mind, and cultivating focus, calm, and restoration.

 

 

Myofascial Release

This experience is essentially a self-massage. Using two specially-made myofascial massage balls, you’ll use varying techniques to release tension in different areas of the body.

Great for: Supporting tension release, relaxation, stress-relief, shorter durations, and limited space.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Mindfulness and meditation are meant to help bring you into the present moment. Research shows a regular mindfulness practice improves wellbeing and productivity. These experiences will consist of a mini lecture and meditation that will focus on various aspect of mindfulness.

Great for: Stress relief, clarity, focus, relaxation, connection, and limited space.
